Bet365 Set to Join European Contingent in U.S. Sports Betting Market

Another significant European sports betting company is currently attempting to combine William Hill and Paddy Power Betfair/FanDuel in what’s becoming a New Jersey sports betting marketplace.

According to a letter printed on the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement website, the newly opened Hard Rock with an estimated 23 million customers worldwide, in Atlantic City along with bet365, are seeking to provide sports. The company, with headquarters in Stoke-on-Trent in England, would serve as risk manager and betting-platform provider.

The correspondence suggests two parties signed a letter of intent on June 19 neither issue has commented about the deal. State officials signed off on a part of the venture while bet365 functions to obtain its permit to operate in New 36, but the approval is valid only until July 31.
